BOOKBEAM CHROME EXTENSION AND DATA SYNCHRONIZATION
If you use the BookBeam Chrome Extension, including the free version, the extension may collect or process technical, usage, and marketplace-related information necessary to provide extension functionality.
To maintain and improve marketplace insights, the Chrome Extension may periodically retrieve publicly available Amazon marketplace data, such as search result pages, book detail pages, author pages, category listings, and similar publicly available marketplace information, using your device’s standard network connection.
This process is limited to publicly available marketplace data and is not intended to access your personal Amazon account data, passwords, payment information, private messages, order history, or other private Amazon account information.
We may use this publicly available marketplace data to operate, maintain, improve, and update the Service, including free and paid research features, marketplace estimates, keyword data, category data, trend data, and other BookBeam tools.
This background data update process may be required as a condition for using certain free extension features. You may stop this processing at any time by uninstalling the Chrome Extension.
AI FEATURES AND THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS
Some features of the Service may use artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies provided by BookBeam or by third-party service providers.
When you use AI-powered features, we may process your prompts, uploaded files, instructions, images, generated outputs, and related metadata in order to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve those features.
We may share AI inputs, uploaded content, and related information with third-party AI providers solely as necessary to provide AI-powered functionality, process your requests, generate outputs, detect abuse, maintain security, or comply with applicable law.
BookBeam does not currently use your private User Content, prompts, uploaded files, or AI outputs to train BookBeam’s own AI models. However, we may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data to analyze usage, improve the Service, improve product performance, and develop new features.
If BookBeam later decides to use User Content, prompts, uploaded files, or AI outputs to train or improve BookBeam-operated AI models in a way materially different from this
Privacy Policy, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by applicable law, obtain consent or provide applicable opt-out rights.
Third-party AI providers may process inputs and outputs in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
You should not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, or information you do not have the right to use through AI-powered features.
BookBeam does not use AI-generated outputs to identify you personally unless those outputs or inputs contain personal information you choose to provide.
USER CONTENT AND UPLOADED MATERIALS
When you create, upload, store, generate, or export content through the Service, we may process that content to provide the Service. This may include images, text, prompts, puzzle content, book interiors, designs, layouts, files, and other materials.
We process User Content to operate, provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, including saving projects, generating outputs, enabling exports, providing support, detecting abuse, enforcing our Terms of Service, and complying with legal obligations.
We do not claim ownership of your User Content. However, we may process, store, reproduce, transmit, modify for technical purposes, and display User Content as necessary to provide and improve the Service.
We may review, remove, disable, or restrict access to User Content where we believe it violates our Terms of Service, applicable law, third-party rights, platform rules, or the safety and security of the Service.

These tools may collect information such as pages visited, clicks, scrolling behavior, mouse movements, device and browser information, approximate location, session activity, general usage patterns, referral source, advertising campaign identifiers, cookie identifiers, pixel identifiers, and conversion events.
We use these tools to improve the Service, measure advertising performance, attribute referrals and affiliate commissions, and understand how users interact with our website and Service.
Where supported, we configure these tools to avoid collecting sensitive information such as passwords, full payment details, private account credentials, and the contents of private fields.

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics tools, session replay tools, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, keep users logged in, understand usage, improve performance, measure marketing campaigns, prevent fraud, personalize the Service, track referrals, attribute affiliate commissions, and support advertising or retargeting where permitted.
We use a cookie consent tool for visitors in jurisdictions where consent is required. Where required by applicable law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
You can adjust your cookie preferences through our cookie banner or preference tool where available. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
ACCOUNT MONITORING, SECURITY, AND ABUSE PREVENTION
We may monitor account activity, usage patterns, login activity, device information, IP addresses, feature usage, export activity, subscription activity, payment status, and related technical information to protect the Service and enforce our Terms of Service.
